That's a nice portfolio, and this grey color palette definitely sets a style, your own style. However, I feel like a bit more contrast could lead to a better rhythm in the layouts. And because everything is so grey, I perceive the color in your works more vivid than they may be, and I don't know why, but it feels a bit weird.

On the other hand, I think that the minimalist graphics you use to frame your work are a bit shy and lack contrast with the color of your background. So when the background of your works is grey or black, it's not easy to make the distinction between your site's background and your works'.

The transitions are nice and well timelined, awesome.

Overall, your works are great, this is a very good portfolio :)

Hey Matt, awesome stuff you have here. Colour palette, photo editing, font choice... everything harmonize so well together! And I like that you choose to be different especially the colour palette. Font colour actually goes easy with the eyes when reading and I think it's a smart move that the project images are presented in full 'brightness' right after description which gives contrast and 'in your face' effect to user.

Hey Matt, nice portfolio! I enjoyed browsing through it. Those animations and interactions are great.

You clearly put a lot of effort in to details and that can be seen by those micro interactions like that carousel at the about section, scroll animations, image revealers and so on.

Also the development side seems well done (nicely handled client site routing with animations, back and forward button working as it should, also the load time and performance seems solid).

My suggestion is for the collor pallete. I would suggest introdoucing a third color to break out of black and gray. Maybe that nice yellow or other contrasting color :) But, I think you have your reasons for that mysterious black and gray look.

Great projects! And nicely presented. Looking forward to see some more stuff from you. Keep that creativity going.
