"Break it." first review

An impressive craft with webgl usage. The first visit certainly succeeds in delivering that "wow" effect. Smooth animation transitions show a high level of attention to details. I would also like to note the simultaneous use of rendering on canvas and animated html (like on the work page), which improves performance without losing quality. The level of the projects presented and the corresponding visual elements is also undoubtedly high.

Though the animations are really impressive, some of them require optimization. My rig handles all of them well at 60 FPS, but the level of performance is not typical. The "box" animation on the home page loads my GPU on 100% even without the rotation animation. I think the lens effect causes it, because after "breaking" the box the load drops to 10%, and reflections appear on each shard, just like the whole "box". The "distortion on hover" animation present on the work page loads my CPU on 50%. I believe that the computation in the code needs attention. The performance requirements for the rest of the animations are reasonable.

There are also some minor issues, that are already a matter of taste, like auto scroll on the work page if I didn't end up in the middle of the image while scrolling, or the requirement for the image to cross through the center of the screen in order to be able to click and open the corresponding page.

Anyway, despite what the previous two paragraphs may make you think, I really liked this craft and definitely would like to see more websites like this one. Recommend.
